Ah, walking in the woods, at the weekend,
What could be better?

I know!
Meeting up with friends for a picnic and then going for a walk!

This had a sad side though, one of my good friends is leaving our little county,
to return to the world (ie move South)
I will miss her :o(

On a positive note, you see hubs there?
He was the only man.
He quite often is.
I don't think he minds being surrounded by 6 lovely ladies
but, isn't it a shame that more husbands don't join in.
I bet they are sitting at home thinking, ha, silly man, ought to man up.
Personally, I think he is being the better man by choosing to spend time with his family
regardless that it is with a bunch of women too.
We aren't scary you know!
But are the other men lazy, scared or......
ok, yeah some might be busy, you know working and all ;o)
any other suggestions though?

Adding this to Coombe Mills linky this week.
It  has been a while
Would love to hear thoughts on why so few Daddys attend things like this
That and the Messy Church we went to before hand, another thing that mine loves to come along to
because the children enjoy it, so does he.

  1. That looks like a perfect country walk. Kids love it when parents both take part in family events. It is not always possible but we do things together when we can. It is only the beach that me and the kids love but leave Farmer Nick on on the farm as sand and sea do nothing for him! A lovely post and a good question, I'm sure your kids appreciate you both being able to do things together. Thanks for linking up on Country Kids.
